ThinLine English Trim To Fit Saddle Fitting Shims Pair

We love these Trim to Fit Saddle Fitting Shims for the excellent customization ability in a pair of shims that come specifically crafted to fit your ThinLine pad.  Carefully trim at perforations for a perfect piece to fit where you need added padding and comfort.  Pictured below are close-up images of perforations for guided trimming.

Inserts have been carefully designed by Master Saddlers. They are custom cut specifically for each pad with a tapered edge to ensure you will never have a pressure point. Our exclusive foam makes saddles fit better, and horses more comfortable.

Inserts stay put without shifting and you may stack up to three sets. We do not divide the pocket, allowing you or your saddle fitter to place the inserts precisely where your horse needs them.

If you find you no longer need inserts, just remove them and keep all the great benefits of your ThinLine Pad!

Colors: ThinLinePlus+ (1/4″) shims are available in black only.  ThinLine (3/16″) shims may arrive in black, brown, or white. And, Since the saddle shims cannot be seen inside your pad, so the color is not an issue.

Thickness & Sizing

ThinLine Plus+ is 1/4″ (6.4mm) thick.
ThinLine is 3/16″ is (4.8mm) thin.

All shimmable pads begin with  ThinLine (3/16″, the thinnest we make) over a base pad. Each saddle pad has a pocket beneath the  ThineLine to place optional shims for fine-tuning saddle fit.

The only pads without the ability to shim, are our pads made entirely out of the ThinLine foam called Basic Pads.

We offer two different shim thickness choices –  ThinLine,&ThinLine+Plus.

• Saddle Fitting Shims are available in the two thicknesses of ThinLine foam-ThinLine and ThinLine+Plus, to adjust (lift) the saddle in one of three areas; front, bridging, cantle (rear lift).
• – Each pad has a custom-designed shim for a perfect fit, so be sure to select the correct pad when ordering your shims.

It only takes a simple pair of scissors or box blades to trim to fit.  Shims come with scoring marks as a guide for you to create Front, bridging, or rear saddle fit shims.
