Jump’in French Mouth Blue Steel Gag Bit

We love this bit because the French-mouth cannons make this bit more comfortable by relieving the horse from any pressure on their palate.

This bit has an action on the horse balance. It makes the horse rebalance and transfer its weight on the hindquarters. The larger the rings are, the stronger the gag action is. Blue steel bit oxidizes with air and humidity creating a thin layer of rust which has a sweet taste. It will stimulate the production of saliva and naturally allow the horse to relax. The horse will be more comfortable and will take the bit more. The bit color will turn into a greyish brown due to this oxidation process. 

This bit can be used with reins fixedly attached on the bottom rings, with bit loops or with two pairs of reins. The gag action is perfect for horses that need to correct a balance issue. The cannons are thinner than standard ones so they will bring more finesse in the rider’s demands
